There was a reason we didn't see Brangelina out together for a couple of months. Angie was busy taking precautions for her health and family while her man Brad stood right by her side!

Brad recently spoke out about Angelina's choice to have a double mastectomy. Not surprising, he's very supportive of her decision.

"Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie's choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic. I thank our medical team for their care and focus. All I want . . . is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family."

Angie's doctors told her she had an 87% chance of getting breast cancer and a 50% chance of getting ovarian cancer; they told her she had what is called the 'breast cancer gene.' While I applaud Angie for her decision, I can't help but think of the deep conversations she had with Brad. And to come out in the open about this, to tell us first hand and not have some gossip magazine find out before Angie could tell her story is very brave in my eyes.

"I'm quite emotional about it, of course. She could have stayed absolutely private about it and I don't think anyone would have been none the wiser with such good results. But it was really important to her to share the story and that others would understand it doesn't have to be a scary thing. In fact, it can be an empowering thing, and something that makes you stronger and us stronger."

We've heard the saying, behind every strong man is a strong woman; I also believe behind every strong woman is a strong man!
