He first recorded the song in 2010 and it's been a hit everywhere but America.  And now Gotye (Wouton "Wally" De Backer) has arrived in the New World.  The Austrian-Belgian appeared on Saturday Night Live and sang his big hit "Somebody That I Used to Know." 

Of course, the song has been out for a long time.  And lots of other talented people have covered the song with their own song stylings -- some better than others.
