“Bee’s Knees”-“The Cat’s Pajamas”… What Does That Even Mean?

Your mom, dad, maybe your grandma or grandpa all have some thing the say that makes you go, "what does that even mean"? I refer to these as "OLDisms".

Older generations, especially, had some real "doozies".

When my grandma was trying to get my attention, or anybody's attention and they wouldn't respond to her, she would shout out, "Hey you with the glass leg and cork eye"... what? Doesn't make sense, but it always got our attention.

You've heard things like "growing like a weed" and "I knew you when you were knee high to a grasshopper". Funny, weird, older sayings that never get said anymore.
