Bands Cover The Beatles’ ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’ [VIDEO]

Recording a good cover of any Beatles song isn’t an easy feat, but performers from the Rock & Worship Roadshow 2011 appear to have done just that.
MercyMe, Jars Of Clay, Matt Maher, Thousand Foot Krutch, The Afters and Lecrae formed together to do their own take on The Beatles’ “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” complete with a one-take music video that is already going viral.
The video itself isn’t perfect; MercyMe frontman Bart Millard’s fake mustache falls off within seconds of filming. But it’s still a great way to spend a few minutes at the computer, and is reminiscent of the ‘I Gotta Feeling’ lipdub video, made my 172 students at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
In other words: John Lennon and crew would be proud.
