Great food, fun and entertainment is coming to Sauk Rapids for their 13th annual Rapids River Days festival. The festivities begin Thursday at 7:00 p.m. with the Sauk Rapids Community Ambassador Pageant.
Konrad’s Officially Closed After Fundraising Falls Short
A fundraising effort to revive a downtown St. Cloud wine bar fell short earlier this week. Konrad's Wine Bar announced on their Facebook page that they are officially closed after raising just over $13,800 dollars through a GoFundMe campaign.

Sauk Rapids School Board Hears Proposal For New Schools
A community task force has recommended that the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District build a fourth elementary school and replace Pleasantview Elementary with a new building. A task force of nearly 100 community members have been gathering over the last two years as part of an ongoing facility study to address space concerns in the district.

The St. Cloud area school district is hosting a job fair for special education positions. The District is looking to fill licensed and non-licensed positions for the upcoming school year.
Mentor Program For Struggling Students Coming to District 742
Governor Mark Dayton signed a budget bill last month that included money to help at-risk students in the St. Cloud area school district. $1.5 million was signed into law for the Sanneh Foundation, a nonprofit that supports students who are at risk of dropping out or failing to graduate.
