Hi! Thanks for stopping by 96.7 The River! I hope you're as happy to be here as I am! After being on the air since the age of 18, I decided to hang up my headphones awhile back. Well.....never say never, because here we are again! And I'm very excited about working with a group of radio veterans who love this music like I do! After living in Colorado for awhile, and on the east coast for about 20 years, I made my way back home to Minnesota several years ago. Jay and I live in St. Joseph with our dog Neena, and our herd of cats. We are also a hospice foster home with Grey Face Rescue. When I'm not on the air, I put on my Creative Directors hat at the station, working in the production department. Outside of work, I volunteer at the Tri-County Humane Society, love love love to travel, spend time with our furry kids, get together with family and friends, read, go for wogs (that's a combination of a walk/jog), ride my bike, and occasionally think about gardening and pulling weeds. I'm lousy at both. I'm a big believer that life gives back to you what you give to others. Kindness, empathy, patience, understanding and love. You have the opportunity to make a difference in every single life that you come into contact with. Always be kind!

Michelangelo’s David Has Weak Ankles
On my vacation last year, the most amazing site in all of Italy, was the statue of David. When I walked into the room and saw the statue, it took my breath away. They are so careful with David, you aren't even allowed to take pictures. The one you see here, is an exact replica built outside. So…

This Song Has Been Haunting Me For Years
I knew all the words to this song years ago. I probably played it over and over again while going through teenage heartbreak. Sigh. But over the past ten years or so, part of the lyrics kept going through my head. I couldn't remember the artist, or the name of the song, or enough lyrics to look…
Having A Bad Day? This Will Make You Smile
I rarely have a bad day. It takes a lot to make me mad. But today I'm irritated. However, shortly after the feeling set in, I found this website, and it made me smile. In a sort of crooked, irritated way. Hope it brightens your day too!
Father Pushes Six Year Old Son Down Skate Ramp [VIDEO]
Let me start by saying this child was not hurt, and he got up and kept skating. Knowing that was the only way I could watch this. The father was visited by the sheriff after others at the skate park shared the video. Another young boy also confronted the father and told him this was not the way to t…
