A recent survey found that everyone in the world is enjoying much more vacation time than Americans. What gives?Take Brazil and Australia for example they enjoy over a month of vacation time every year while Americans get that two weeks a year thing.

Oddly enough there's that mental fear factor that sets in because of the way we think in regards that we don't use all our vacation time thinking we might lose our jobs or we appear lazy in the eyes of our co-workers and managers.

The French get five weeks a year, nine weeks if they work for the government, (nine weeks, wow!), grind away Americans.

Take the time off, you've earned it and relax.

What's your motivation by taking very little vacation each year? Maybe it's called "vacation guilt."
