A recent study found  that most singles in the U.S. are not actively seeking a romantic partner or even dating frequently. A national survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project found that 49% of young singles had been on no more than one date in the past three months. It turns out singles are perfectly fine going to the movies alone, hanging out in bars with good friends or just staying home.
