ST. CLOUD - American Ninja Warrior competitor Hoan Do visited St. Cloud State University for their Power in Diversity Leadership Conference this (Friday) evening.

Do is known for his apparence on the hit TV show but he is also a well known inspirational speaker. Do's passion for inspirational speaking fired up during high school. His career took off while attending Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Many people have inspired Do in his life but he says his biggest inspiration is his parents. With his father being a Vietnam War veteran fighting for America and his mother overcoming tough family and health obstacles, he has been inspired by them both to achieve his goals.

Do does travel at least one third of the year and that can make working out challenging. Do says he has to get creative with work outs such as jumping over suitcases and climbing staircases.

He was inspired to do American Ninja Warrior after a normal work out session. He was working out at his cousin's gym and his cousin took a picture of him climbing on a peg board. His cousin later posted the picture to Facebook with the hashtag American Ninja Warrior [#americanninjawarrior] and this inspired Do to go on the show.

Throughout his time on the show he suffered from an ankle injury.

Do is excited to say he has began training for season 8 and can't wait to get back on the show.
