PRIME DAY LIME DAY?

Yesterday, Amazon celebrated their 20th Birthday with "Prime Day." They claimed they were going to have even more deals than "Black Friday." So far, it doesn't seem like it was all they envisioned.

WHY PRIME DAY FLOPPED

The Amazon deals for PRIME DAY seemed more like random things that they wanted to unload. It was advertised like the deals were going to be so good it would top Black Friday. Someone tweeted,"Amazon Prime Day is like shopping at a garage sale. You go in with high expectations and walk away with more junk." Bummer!

WHAT WERE THE BIG DEALS?

  • A 1995 Franklin Half Dollar for $70
  • Two pack of ski masks for $12
  • Dishwasher detergent tabs for $14
  • Slendertone Abdominal Belt for $16
Those things just weren't on my shopping list. Give me an Apple Watch...Give me shoes...Give me sheets...not an abdominal Belt for $16.  I don't think I'd take it if it was free, honestly.
On top of it, the deals were only for PRIME members...HMMM.... Pay an annual membership fee to BE a PRIME member, which gives you things like FREE two day shipping, and access to online streaming stuff.
On a brighter note, if you are an Amazon lover, and shop with Amazon a lot, and want to be PRIME,  you can sign up by clicking HERE.
