We’ve been thirsting for a follow-up to Adele's hugely successful 2011 release 21 for far too long now, but it looks like the drought may soon be over.

According to Hits Daily Double, Adele’s third studio album, titled 25, is slated for a November 20 release date. The site says a lead single from the album may drop as soon as the first week or two of November, which is a mere month-and-a-half away at this point.

25 also marks Adele's final effort with her current Sony/XL deal, but she reportedly already worked out a new contract with Sony that’s been valued at over $50 million. She’s also rumored to have signed a deal with NBC, ensuring she'll promote the album across four television shows, including The Today Show, Saturday Night Live and two others.

Pharrell confirmed that Adele was writing new music in an interview with Ryan Seacrest earlier this year. He said, “I’ve seen her recently. She’s kinda like, ‘OK guys, I’m gonna open my diary for 20 minutes’. So it’s like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really...Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she’s off with her beautiful boy – and that’s what it’s all about.”

He continued, saying, "She is a masterful writer. You listen to her albums and the intention is living and breathes."

Adele's camp has yet to confirm November 20 as a solid release date, but if it's true, we hope no one else was planning on dropping an album that day.
