According to "The Sun," Adele and her lover, Simon Konecki, didn't fill out the necessary paperwork on their new bundle of joy. They legally have a 42 day deadline to file the needed paperwork after their son was born on October 19. Adele now faces a $1,600 fine. But no need to judge or laugh at Adele, the oversight is common.

"Cops are hardly going to be banging on their door tomorrow and it's probably just an oversight on their part. Most parents register their baby within a couple of weeks because it's a nice thing to do - and because there's a maximum fine of £1,000 if they don't. There's loads of reasons why parents are late and millions of couples don't bother for ages."

Adele really doesn't need to worry about covering the fine either, just a few weeks ago her album, "21," has sold over 10-Million copies!

And by the way, Adele is still keeping her son's name a secret!!
