Doctors are doubtful that seven-year-old Evan Leversage, who is one of thousands of kids suffering with terminal brain cancer, would not live to see Christmas this year... so his tremendous community brought Christmas to him.

Santa Claus came early to St. George, Ontario, this year for young Evan, who has been battling brain cancer since he was only two years old.

Evan has been strong, even as a toddler, going through tough sessions of chemo therapy,  doctors even saw improvement in Evans battle... but this past January (2015) Evan's parents were given some terrible news.

It was discovered that Evan had a tumor and under went another 30-weeks of chemo therapy. Then, in July, doctors discovered that tumors had spread rapidly throughout his brain.

The cancer became so sever, the doctors said there is no more treatment they can offer that will help.

With doubt that Evan will make it to December 25 to celebrate Christmas, his small community of nearly three-thousand-people decorated their homes with lights, carolers were going door to door singing and 25-float parade rolled through the streets.

There is a GoFundMe set up to help the family in their trying times to come over the next few months. The entire goal was set at $1,500. They have raised close to $40,000... what an amazing community to come together for one little boy and his family.
