ST. CLOUD - Young professionals of St. Cloud are becoming more involved in the community. The St. Cloud Rotaract Club has partnered with the local Rotary Club to connect hardworking people ages 18 to 30 through volunteer work, social events, and speaker presentations.

President Clare Richards believes in bringing the community together through service while developing life-long relationships among members.

There's a lot of young professional groups in this area with networking opportunities - happy hour - that type of thing.  What we really wanted to do is focus on more of the service aspect and getting people involved in service in the area to really help this community.

Richards created the club in September 2015 and now has 18 members.

Some of their highlights include volunteering for the annual Earth Day Run, Summertime by George, and more.

The club gets together every first and third Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Marriot Hotel downtown St. Cloud.
