Shay's sleeping habits have become the habits of Brittany and me. We know when, in the middle of the night, she will wake up ready to eat and thanks to her baby monitor, we kind of have a "snooze" button.

Brittany and I can her start to move around, make noises and it's basically the warning before it's time to eat. Shay will toss and turn for about 10-minutes before she starts to talk (yell) and tell us to feed her. Last night was no different, I heard Shay starting to wake up (and we're more cautious with her waking up now, because we lay her down one way and she wakes up the other way (see the pictures above and below) and she also rolls over now and sometimes get caught up on her arm... that drives her INSANE and she SCREAMS!) and as she begins to wake up I hear a loud BOOM!

Before I could even brush the sleep from eyes or take a breath, I was in her room making sure she was ok. I didn't see anything out of place, but my adrenaline is still racing wondering what happen or WHO COULD BE IN MY HOUSE... FYI, I have a bat by my bed and anybody entering without permission, the locked door(s) is your only warning... parenting, right?

After checking the entire house, without my bat because the adrenaline was racing too fast to think, I came to the conclusion... Shay, who not only rolls over and turn herself all the around, she finds it fun to kick her little fish light/music thing (I have no idea what they're called, but again, it's in the pictures) hanging from her crib. That had to be it, right?

That's the conclusion I came to at 3:30 in the morning.

Around 7:00 this morning, when we up for good and no adrenaline pumping, I noticed that the base of our double crock pot had fallen from where it was sitting and that had to be what the loud noise was.

All that running around freaking out, over a crock-pot.
