A Majority of Men Still Pay For Women on Dates

According to a new study, men still pay for women on almost all of the dates they go on. 84% of men say the take care of the entire tab on the first date and on several dates thereafter.  39% of the women surveyed say they have offered to pay but were relieved when the guy doesn't take them up on the offer.

The survey also found women would have trouble dating a guy who didn't offer to pay on the date and six months is the point in the relationship when you can start sharing the cost.  Call me old fashioned, but I never let my dates pay and even today after being married for almost eight years, still reach for the check.
