A recent survey found the average person takes 227 showers a year (breaks down to 4 a week). I guess I'm not average because I shower 7-days a week.  But this advice is for people (like me) who feel the need to shower every morning to wake up. It's a 90-second trick that wakes you up even better than a normal hot shower. First, take a normal shower. But then before you get out, hit yourself with cold water for approx 30 seconds . . . go back to hot water for approx 30 seconds . . . and end with another 30-seconds of cold.

Switching back and forth between hot and cold increases blood flow. So you end up feeling even more energized and ready to tackle the day. Read more at indy100.com.
