5 Ways St. Cloud Is A Different Place During The Daytime

My work hours are anything but typical. I must say, waking up at 4 a.m. isn't my favorite part, but there are tons of perks that go along with getting off of work super early. St. Cloud is unrecognizable during the daytime!

1. There are virtually no lines anywhere I go from about 1-3 p.m. When I go to the mall, there's always a checkout clerk waiting for me. It's so convenient.

2. The grocery store is pretty empty. If I can't find something, there are usually a couple people readily available to help me. Plus, the cart hub is always full and I get to pick any cart I choose. I don't get stuck with the one with the squeaky wheel anymore!

3. The movie theater is dead. It's the best time to check out a movie. Ticket prices are typically cheaper for that reason. You get your pick of whatever seat you want in the theater. It's awesome!

4. You get early dinner specials and lunch specials. Now that I wake up at 4 a.m., I eat dinner at the same time my grandma does...usually 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. This is great because if I want to go out to dinner, I get seated right away...and my food is cheaper!

5. Everything is open. I can call anywhere and talk to an actual person. Typically, after 5 p.m. you get a voicemail recording that tells you that your call will be answered on the next business day. It's fantastic being able to call a business and speak with an actual person on the same day!
