5 Finalists Named For Open Sauk Rapids City Council Seat

SAUK RAPIDS - Five finalists have been named to fill the open seat on the Sauk Rapids City Council.

Council members are scheduled to interview William Bard, Jason Ellering, Joe Foster, Merle Gales, and Tim Wilcox. The interviews will be held on Wednesday at the Sauk Rapids Government Center.

A total of nine people applied for the position.

There's an open seat on the council because Kurt Hunstiger had two years left in his term when he was elected Mayor back in November.
